Faith has no place demanding agreement or punishing disagreement. NOTE: In the beginning thought experiment, the computer is not asking for general answers like 'space' or 'matter' that would apply to absolutely every possible permutation of objects in the cube. It is asking for specifics. Apply the 'game show' criterion. If you were asked on a game show 'What's in the cube?' you know that 'space' and 'matter' would not cut it as answers. Besides, if you do resort to answering with generalities that would apply to any conceivable contents of the cube, that simply illustrates my point: that specific answers can't be given.

This is brilliant. Thank you for this video. It's unfortunate however that the people that should really see this wouldn't understand it. They'd have to watch it many times at the very least.

so the problem between religion vs "lets say" atheism is the logical answer of "im right your not" but how can we say anything is "right" or "worng" if there is no common ground....there for how could conversation between either parites birth....absolute truth "witch is what humanity is born looking for....?"

beliefs are the most powerful thing that we have. they control everything you do. who controls your beliefs controls you. funny thing is you can control your own beliefs very little people do. they just go around with destructive beliefs mind virus emo Goffs clinically depressed subcultures and see them in all societies running belief systems that do not serve them. I think the reason why we're so happy when we are kids is because we have no beliefs. no bad software

9:39 Indeed. God did not create us in his image, but we who created god in ours.. and it shows, often exaggerated or segmented, in the various aspects of our social and individual psychology. It's more gestalt than god Rhetorical Question: How can we be "made in god's image" if god is a singular entity? So much of our psychology is geared toward social aspect, with extreme isolation often used as a form of punishment/torture... how can it's operation be a reflection of an entity with no peers?

@Aaberg123 Our morals come from our need for each other. We need other people to survive. If we were like Big Cats it would be different. Our evolution is what gives us our morals. No one who is of a sane and reasonable character would just go kill someone else or take their things. We are a tribal animal. We have to respect the freedom of the tribe or we pay the consequences and risk detainment, starvation, death or any other number of things that hinder our own lives.
